While this may not be the prettiest site in the world, it's here for it's avatar hosting, and it does that well. I'd do up the site, but that would increase loading time, so I can't be bothered.
This is really getting too big for it to be listed on the main page, so I will eventually move it to another location/file, or FAQ. When I have time. Or when the list of users gets too big. One of the two.

I want to have my avatar hosted here!! What do I do to sign up?
First of all, you send an email to me at [email protected] with your avatar, in the following format:
TO: [email protected]
SUBJECT: AVATAR HOSTING
ATTACHMENTS: Your Avatars and banners.(less than 50 kb in total)
MESSAGE:
I want my username to be <insert username here>.
(optional)I want my username to be displayed as <insert username here> on the web page.

You will receive an email back telling you that it has been hosted, and a link will appear on the main page for your username. If there's a username here that you want, tough cookies, you gotta choose a different username (but, if you want, I can make it so that it displays your desired username on your page).

Can I host other images here?
Yes. It comes down to consideration. I'll host anything up to 500kb if I can afford to (doesn't exceed userspace). But it'll only be temporary - in other words, the maximum time I will host it is approximately 4 weeks. If you wish to have it hosted for longer than that, please specify that in the email you send to me (with the image).
I see an avatar I like here! Can I link to it?
If you are an existing user, no, but I'll copy it to your userspace. If you are not an existing user here, then email me, and I'll create an account with the image that you liked as your avatar. Please don't just randomly link to other people's avatars - if I find you doing that, I'll change the address so you have a dead link, and you'll upset me, you, and the user that you nicked their avatar from.
Why keep the avatars so small?
There is a 20MB limit on this website, so keeping the avatars and banners below the 50 kb level allows for approximately 400 avatars and banners to be hosted without problems. Also, considering it should be loaded quite frequently, and lots of people use 56kbps modems, that means a 50kb set of images will take 12s to load on a GOOD connection for 56kbps users like myself. It's all about consideration.
What size should my avatars be?
Depending on the forum, there is the standard 60x60 pixel images, or 100x100 pixel images that are available on the newer forums. Some forums don't have a size restriction!! Be sure to check out what size is required. The same applies to banners. However, I use 421x83 and have never had any problems.
I can't resize my images!! Can you do it for me?
Things I'll do:
I'll downsize images (of format JPG and BMP) from any size to whatever you want, and if I have some spare time, like when I'm not at uni, then I'll even crop whole images or possibly search for an image for you. Create animated GIF's for people. See the "Animated Gifs" section for more details.
Things I won't do:
Upsize images (lowers the quality), create a gallery for people to choose from.
Animated Gifs - can you create it for me?
Provided you supply the duration of each frame, and the files in a sequential filename listing (e.g. file001, file002, ..., file999, etc.), I will gladly do such creation of animated GIF's. The files must be sent to me in a ZIP, RAR or ACE file, preferably using Winace v2.20 or earlier (allows for compatability). Please note that the uncompressed size of all of the files in total (i.e. if you extract all the files into one directory) will be slightly LESS than the final animated GIF created.
The software used for GIF Animation creation is Jasc Animation Shop v3.04.
How do I find the address for my avatar?
You can do a few things, one of them being Right-Clicking the image, going to the properties and copying that, or loading the image in a seperate window for those with browsers capable of doing that, OR if you're completely retarded I can put the address below your avatar.
My image doesn't work!! Why isn't it working?
Could be one of three things.
  1. The site has just been updated, and the server recognises a change, however has not had time to process it. This will be shown with a little icon saying FortuneCity. Just wait about 5-10 minutes, and it will be loaded for sure (although it says in the contract that there is NO waiting time, so it should be there whenever you want it to.
  2. Some pr!cks have been using your avatar, and I changed the address, because it's for you and you alone. In the event of this happening, I will endeavour to contact the irresponsible user, and suggest they get their own avatar and userspace to host it on (like here!!). Your page will be updated, and you will be able to find the new address of your avatar from there.
  3. The site is down. In this case, you won't be able to see this page, and there's nothing I can do about it.
